We have VAN Trainings TONIGHT Friday July 8 and Monday July 11
BOTH are from 5pm-9pm (you don't need to stay the whole time1)

There are more telephone calls that could be made to members of the Black Political Empowerment Project inviting them to the APA/Jonny Gammage Scholarship Fundraiser tomorrow from 11 to 7 pm at Schenley Park- Overlook Shelter.  If you could help make more phone calls tonight, this afternoon and this evening please call me at 412-867-9213.

-         Books you want other people to read

-         Mobile communication devices so that we can tweet and post facebook photographs and organizing ideas throughout the day

 

What you can bring/prepare/purchase.

-         something tasty to eat

-         chairs for yourself and a few friends to lounge on

-         a bag of charcoal

-         a case of pop

-         a COLD watermelon, seeds preferred

-         a $50 Giant Eagle gift card

 

What tasks can you volunteer for throughout the day?

-         sign people in and encourage new petitioners

-         lead a volleyball team to victory

-         conduct a musical orchestra

-         clean-up crew

-         make a run to the grocery store
