There will be a contra dance in Pittsburgh this Friday, Jan. 15, at Swisshelm Park Community Center featuring the caller, Bob Devaty, and the band, Devilish Merry, from 8-11PM.
An introductory lesson begins at 7:30PM and will be taught by the caller.
Cost of the contra dance is $10/$7 for students.
Feel free to bring a snack to share at the break.

The Ripples are a contra dance band out of Cincinnati, OH and Louisville, KY. Their style is inspired by a range of genres from world beats to blues to pop while keeping a firm footing in traditional American folk. For this concert, they'll bring a mixture of high energy dance tunes, slow jams, and good old country harmony singing.
