There will be a contra dance in Pittsburgh this Friday, Oct. 2, at Swisshelm Park Community Center featuring the caller, Cindy Harris, and the band, Zeke's Fancy, from 8-11PM.

An introductory lesson begins at 7:30PM and will be taught by the caller.

Cost of the contra dance is $10/$7 for students.

Feel free to bring a snack to share at the break.

**Zeke's Fancy takes traditional dance music from the British Isles and

Appalachia and combines it with swing to provide driving music for contra dance. Their unique sound is anchored by Zeke Hutchison - mandolin, complimented  by Mark Barsamian - fiddle, and backed by Nick Weiland - bass and Dave Borowski, - guitar.  This band knows how to drive a dance!

Gaye & Wayne will host a gathering after the dance at their home, 1125 LaClair St.  Bring a snack or drink to share and an instrument to play!
