Dear Offices from the International Member Societies of the ISSMGE,

We would like to inform you that, based on multiple requests, the deadline for submitting nominations for the 8th International Young Geotechnical Engineers Conference (8iYGEC 2026) has been extended until *April 18th, 2025*.

This extension aims to accommodate additional nominations and ensure that every member society has the opportunity to participate. As a reminder:

   -) Each member society may nominate up to three young engineers (under 35 years of age).

   -) Two “nominated participants” will have guaranteed participation.

   -) One additional “non-nominated participant” will be considered for remaining spots, which will be allocated fairly.

Please submit your completed nomination form in the provided Excel format via email to iyge...@tugraz.at by *April 18th, 2025*. If no nomination is received by this deadline, the guaranteed spots will be reassigned.
