Dear Representatives of the PMGEC,
Dear colleagues and friends from around the Mediterranean basin and around the world
I am writing in coordination with the Chair of PMGEC, Prof. Grace Abou Jaoude, following the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding by all participating societies, to personally express our pleasure and enthusiasm in welcoming you and your members to the inaugural PMGEC Conference in Beirut , coming up in two months.
We are truly looking forward to seeing many of you again and to meeting others for the first time.
It's time to register, if you haven't done this yet, and take advantage of the early bird! We kindly encourage you to share the registration and hotel accommodation information with your members and friends. All the necessary information can be found on the website " PMGEC-LEb.com " . While most participants will not require a visa to enter Lebanon, we ask everyone to verify visa requirements for your corresponding country (passport used). Please do not hesitate to reach out to Grace or myself should you have any questions—we would be delighted to assist and to connect you with the appropriate contacts at INFOMED (conference organizers) or guide you accordingly.
We hope to see strong participation from your society and country, which will contribute greatly to the success of this inaugural event.
As President of the ISSMGE and currently residing in Lebanon, I can confidently say that this conference has been designed with great care and passion. Beyond the excellent technical program, iconic venue, and a memorable gala dinner, we are eager to introduce you and your members to Lebanon through a rich social program, including a nightlife experience, a yacht trip, historical visits, technical tours, and a two-day accompanying persons program led by my fiancée, Rania, with visits to Baalbek and the Cedars.
We very much look forward to welcoming you and your members personally to Beirut and to sharing what promises to be a spectacular and enriching conference together.
