             .Net, SQL with strong troubleshooting experience

            Location: Wilton, CT

           Yrs. of experience: 10-12 Yrs.

 

·         Maintaining the health of the Assets in his/her portfolio through the Asset lifecycle (through and including end-of-life)

·         Manage/resolve high priority and business impacting incidents as last point of escalation

·         Perceive technology problems around application and infrastructure, recommend solutions to meet business goals

·         Evaluate new requirements that triggers changes in design, technology and infrastructure, footprint of services CT offers

·         Ownership in keeping technology stable within Core tech department

·         SME level inputs for migration initiatives that impacts the application landscape such as Win 7 migration, Windows 2012 server migration, Data Center migration etc.

·         Making development and enhancement activities of larger programs around the applications under Core tech

·         Ensure to provide a tested DR environment that should meet the BCM responsibility for its mission critical applications/systems to its business stakeholders

 

Skills / experience:

·         At least 9+ years of solid development experience in .NET technologies and SQL Server database technology

·         Very good understanding of Windows and Linux operating systems and network to correlate application and infrastructure

·         Prefers to have understanding of Load balancers and monitoring tools like Site scope, spectrum, SCOM etc.

·         Experience of platform/technology migration projects

·         Scripting knowledge on PowerShell, Python, Shell is preferred

·         SQL experience.

·         Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
