Shouldn't we discuss that together at the G.A.? Or should we appoint a working group to formulate a statement?

Or we can just work on it in our own committee. How do you feel about it?

I'm trying to get clear on the "statements" comments. Glen, are you
proposing that we, as the Outreach Committee, create a statement of
purposes/principles? The list is too long for me to investigate right
now.
I would like to focus on Outreach actions - how do we outreach for
Occupy Pasadena (General Assembly) to reach and bring in more
Pasadenans?

One suggestion for outreach action - I saw a table for Obama 2012 on
the Quad at PCC today as I was flyering for tomorrow's Rally. I
suggest we develop a plan to put information tables or Outreach
Committee members at various locations (PCC, Trader Joes, more
challenging locations); equipped with information - printed and verbal
- to solicit participation.

Gimme some feedback.

I like that idea, Jeff! I think a table in PCC's quad would be very effective in getting the word out.

I like the table idea!

Also, as far as a statement goes, I think remaining vague and all-
inclusive has been very beneficial to this movement. Staying within
the bounds of being for the 99% and against corporate influence on our
government is to our advantage in building momentum and having a point
of solidarity that the great majority of folks can align with.

I agree. Overall, I think we should make our message personal. Why do
YOU believe in and join this movement? So its not what THEY are about,
but what are YOU about. I'm assuming since we are in this together,
our messages and feelings will likely align. I believe this strategy
will be much more effective in influencing people to join.
