to PGA Action Committee
This may be the wrong committee but, since it involves direct action
it might fit.
I was reading about another GA (didn't take note of which one) that
sent out letters to churches in the area to open a dialogue. It
occurred to me that this could be a great way to find families in or
near foreclosure, who could use our assistance and would be willing to
have us occupy their homes and force negotiations with their mortgage
holders.
In any event wouldn't hurt to reach out to not only churches but to
any other groups that offer assistance to families we might be able to
assist.
Just to point out that foreclosure actions are getting the most
positive feedback with the 99% who aren't occupying. Closures annoy
them because they don't get the point but helping out families in
crises is easy for them to understand.
