1. roaming GA's through local churches
2. art-related actions through Old Town on a Friday or Saturday night,
including the idea of light graffiti where we would project an image
onto the side of one of the buildings
3. using live music as a part of the march
4. GA's at local schools such as high schools, colleges
5. some sort of community service action that connects us to the city
and/or police, the idea is to give back to the community
6. doing outreach at farmers markets, where part of our message should
be to buy local
A general recommendation was to provide time for reflection after any
action via an informal meeting where we could evaluate whether a
particular action and its results were in line with our expectations
of what the movement should be shooting for.
1. We felt the marches should remain weekly but should change locations.
2. We discussed South Lake, particularly between Del Mar and
California which is a very bush area during the holidays particularly
Friday evenings. It also has many small businesses and restaurants.
3. We felt that we should expand our outreach to NW Pasadena but were
unable to come up with areas for marches although there are areas we
could target for other direct actions.
If I forgot anything please chime in!
