Council strikes again

I see the authoritarian nannies on Prince George's County Council, have acted recently to:

1) Incentivize landlords to reduce maintenance or abandon properties, and

2) Reduce construction of affordable townhomes, is now working on incentivizing reductions in nursing staffing,

And are now working on measures that will:

3) Restrict use of and charge for grocery bags, effectively a regressive tax on county minorities and less well of residents,

4) Interfere in nursing and other healthcare staffing, thus

a) Likely reducing the number of services and beds available to care for residents, and

b) Limiting the possibility of productivity improvements from various types of automation.

They also seem to be planning on increasing fees, permitting delays, and Big Brother surveillance of county resident.s

But NOT doing anything effective about the ongoing and increasing crime or the poor results coming from Maryland's second-worst school system.
