Maryland Officers File Complaint With Justice Department Alleging Racial Discrimination in Police Department
A Maryland police department formed a panel to review internal practices after dozens of officers filed a discrimination complaint with the U.S. Department of Justice.
Prince George's County Police Chief Hank Stawinski has not received the complaint but proactively created the panel, a source within the department said.
More than 70 officers signed onto the complaint alleging racial discrimination within the department.
