The sentences with yellow line are written by Kotone-san, pls check them below.

1) about seniors interview

We'd like to ask 5 topics to some seniors(4-5) who are over 5 years in P&G.

The topics are,

 1. off-day activities, 2. fav lunch menu, 3. biggest habit, 4. childhood dream, 5. pet peeves.

Can we do this as like we ask to NHs?

 

I guess it would be better to ask mentors of PH.  Mentors know more about PH and I think their company tenure is more than 3 years. 

They might be able to share “Expectations to 2012 New-hires” or “Key Growth their mentee demonstrated” etc…

It would be more relevant to PH, I guess… What do you think?   If you agree, it would be great if you can ask some PH directly to get the comments..

 

2)about PHs location

We intend to introduce PHs whose location are not JHQ.

(showing who will work in TOC, 3plants, without CBD)

Can we do this?

and can we get from those information from company?

 We are not handling the overall locations of each New-hire, unfortunately.  Each function is handling them.  Therefore it would be great if you can get those information from PH directly.  If it ok to share it or not is depending on each function.  I guess most of them are ok to be open.  Please check directly with PH.

Thank you so much Mahhy for contacting Kotone-san about the topics! 

1) about seniors interview
I think interviewing the mentors is more relevant for the purpose of the newsletter. As of what questions we want to ask, we can either: 
a) Ask them questions about themselves (eg. their career path plan, future dream, hobbies, favorite lunch menu, etc.)
OR
b) Ask them things about their mentees (eg. please describe each mentee's strength/growth in 3 words, what did you learn from mentoring PH? etc..)

The challenge would be to find out how many mentors there are and to contact a PH for each mentor and ask him/her to interview their mentor for us..... It would be really really helpful if we can get a list of mentors and their mentees from Kotone-san. 

2) about PHs location
Trying to figure out every PH's location sounds really troublesome and not very informative, especially because CBDs don't know theirs yet. Besides, it doesn't really deliver our objective of "strengthening bond among PH and with P&G". It's simply a set of information that PHs can get on their own if they want to. We also need to think about the length of the newsletter too. 
But I want to know what you guys think.

Actions Needed:
1) Which set of questions (a or b) do you guys think we should go with for the Mentor article?
2) Mahhy, can you kindly email Kotone-san and ask if we can get the list of mentors and their mentees?

Mahhy, were you able to email Kotone-san again? It'll be nice if I can get that list of mentors as soon as possible because we're submitting articles pretty soon......! Also, I'm moving to Kobe tomorrow where I won't have internet access on my laptop, so I'll have to work from my iphone.

I'm really sorry for late response.
I'll send Kotone-san about that.
I want to know how many responses you want and how many mentors will you ask?

In Feb NL, I got too much response on pwitter from NH....><
I'm afraid that the same things will happen  this time.

and, I think it will be better we choose A in Sae-chan's question,
I think not every PHs want to tell their mentoring to all PHs & mentors.

I'm really sorry for the late reply!

As Sae chan and Mahhy mentioned, it will be better to use plan A, I think.

and about the number of mentors, I think three will be nice because we may receive long responses from each mentor (like self intro topic).

I'm in Bali now, and I'm working from my iPod... sorry for the inconvenience > <

I've got positive responces from all PHs whom we asked to write self intro article!

I'm looking forward to reading all of them and talking with you soon!

Hi Mahhy and Team,

Thanks for your reply Mahhy! I initially thought of asking PHs to contact their mentors for us, but I think it's better for me to ask them myself. Please check the following request message that I wrote and fix any mistakes you see. 
Can you then include the message when you email Kotone-san again, and ask her to send the message to all the mentors?
As of the number, I'm not sure how many mentors there are, but I really want to include all mentors. We might end up with lots of responses, but I noted in the message that we may have to shorten or cut off some answers so I think they'll understand. 
Do you think that'll be okay?

Oops, can you change "pick a photo of yourself" to "send a photo of yourself" in the message? I think that's clearer. :)
Also, can you ichiou ask Kotone-san how many mentors there are? If it's like...20, we'll have to think. lol

Your request message is really good I think:D

I have one suggestion about the number of who we will ask to.
I suggest that we would decide number of mentors who we will ask to.
I suppose 3-5 people from each function is enough to get 3 reply.

There too many mentors. For example, I heard that all the CBD PH has different mentors each, maybe except for MKT, we have different mentors each.
It's amount about 40 mentors. I think if we will send all of them, we would get too many replies from mentors.
It would be difficult to use all of them even if we shorten them. 


Sae-chan,Could you think about it again?
and, Sa-cchan & Hi-cchan what do you think of it?

Thanks for letting me know about the number of mentors. I totally thought each mentor has about 5 mentees like MKT!! 

So in that case i agree with you that we shouldnt send the request to everyone. I think i can fit 4 though. But i'll leave the number up to you. 

If you can email kotone-san by tonight that would be great! That'd give the mentors 3-4 days. :)
