Free our Institute (IIFM) from Bureaucracy

Hey Friends,

Hope you all are doing good!!!

Recently I got the chance to visit our Alma Mater and came to know that Dr. G.A. Kinhal has completed his tenure as Director of IIFM. 

IIFM has again started the search of new director. To my surprise the selection criteria are again made such that people from administrative/ forest services can qualify for the position instead of people from educational/ research background. 

IIFM has had enough of bureaucratic leadership (mainly from forest services) and deserves a change in it.  Hence I have filed a petition on change.org and request your support by signing the petition. Link for the petition is pasted below.  Request you to please go through the link and cast your support by signing the petition as I believe most of you would agree with me that IIFM needs a person from academic/ research background instead of from Forest Services as director.
