Hello,

I am trying to run a reactive transport case with coupled porosity, so the effective diffusion coefficient evolves following Archie's law. According to the tutorial, the flag UPDATE_TORTUOSITY automatically updates this variable with this law:

tau = tau0*(phi/phi0)^b

I have also set the flag UPDATE_POROSITY, so tortuosity evolves with dissolution and precipitation of mineral phases.

However, tortuosity remains constant while porosity does not. I have also tried setting the flag TORTUOSITY_FUNCTION_OF_POROSITY, which theoretically allows defining exponent b of the previous equation. It has indeed modified tortuosity, but without accounting for phi0, and tortuosity has also remained constant for the whole simulation.

I would appreciate any help on this matter.

Arnau,

Please send an complete input deck the replicates the issue.  Ideally, a simple one.  Hopefully, someone can take a look internally within the code.

Thanks,

Glenn
