Hello everyone,

I seem to have an issue in my input file where inhibiting methanogenesis microbial reactions works correctly, but when I include sulfate (inhibit above threshold), the Newton Solver is failing. I've attached my input file (with the sulfate inhibition included in the three methanogenesis reactions) and a screenshot of my error output file below.

Would appreciate help with it!

Best,
Sanskriti

Sanskriti,

My first guess is oscillatory behavior, but I do not see a regular pattern that oscillation typically exhibits.  Please send me your database. There are several species that are not included in the main hanford.dat database.

Thanks,

Glenn
