Hi all,

I'm trying to figure out how to get depth dependent reaction rate output for microbial reactions. I've seen some documentation on that for mineral kinetics, but I'm a little lost on how to do that for microbial reactions. I'm aiming to make plots like below, any suggestions?

Thank you!

Cheers,

Susan,

PFLOTRAN does not store the rates for microbial reactions (or to my recollection other reactions other than mineral precipitation-dissolution reactions). A workaround would be hack the code and print the rates to the screen, capturing screen output in a file and then parsing the file for the values. A little bit of work, but possible.

The rates are calculated at:

https://bitbucket.org/pflotran/pflotran/src/b0098652ec04134f120328c0604fa0722109d19a/src/pflotran/reaction_microbial.F90#lines-391

but you lack the cell id info.

If you call in during office hours, we could attempt to hack the code during that meeting.

Glenn
