PFLOTRAN Devs,

The below is a message sent out this morning regarding the cancellation of today's PFLOTRAN Dev telecom:

I am on vacation (holiday) the remainder of the month. However, I am updating the documentation for the next release (v8) that will hopefully occur prior to 2026. I note that v7 was never publicly released. It was tagged for several projects/publications prior to upgrading to PETSc 3.24.

I would prefer that this upcoming release by v7.1, but I cannot pass v7 regression tests with the master branch due to updated placement of the DEBUG keyword (the master branch is not backwards compatible…a requirement for minor releases [https://documentation.pflotran.org/developer_guide/configuration_management_plan.html#approach-to-git-version-control]).
