Dear Community Members,

Growing Gardens is excited to offer a free two part webinar and discussion on Trauma Informed Practice with Vo Vo (they/them), a radical educator of 13 years in over 20 countries in racial justice, intercultural communication, trauma-informed care, de-escalation and transformative justice.

Getting educated about what trauma is, how it impacts us, and how we respond to it can help you improve your ability to respond in human-centered and supportive ways that don't add to a person's trauma. Week 1 we'll get the basics. Then after a week of reflection, we'll have the chance to participate in a follow up group discussion. Please join us and pass the word to others you work with who can benefit.

When: PART 1: Webinar - Wednesday February 22nd, 11am-12:30pm; PART 2: Follow Up Discussion - Wednesday, March 1st, 11:00-11:30
Where: on Zoom, we'll send you the link after you register, Click here to register.
Whom: anyone in Washington, Multnomah or Clackamas County who works with youth ages 6 mo-21 years in any way related to food, garden or agricultural education.
