Reports to: Senior Director of Assets

Location: Portland, OR

Starting Salary:$70,000 - $78,500

Job Summary 

The Ecotrust assets team is seeking an Operations Manager to lead strategic programming and ensure smooth and effective operations across the department. The Operations Manager is responsible for maintaining day to day operations at the Redd campus and as needed at the Natural Capital Center (NCC). The job will be onsite most days directly engaging in building activity centered in programs, events, property management, food value-chain coordination, and community coordination. This role is grounded in team & project management associated with building operations, grant writing, program development, and developing processes in collaboration with Ecotrust colleagues across programmatic functions to build community assets for the communities we serve.

 

Who you are 

You have project management skills with a background in food infrastructure operations and can foster strategic partnerships, enjoy managing & collaborating with staff, and coordinating with tenants. You have an entrepreneurial spirit, can anticipate challenges, and create solutions that work for the community. Ideally you have a background in food systems, business management, events, operations, and logistics.  

 

This is a full-time job, primarily based onsite with ~x3 days/week at the Redd in SE Portland, ~x1 day/week at the Natural Capital Center in the Pearl, and x1 day/week WFH.
