Temporary Garden Educator

As of 1/19/23:

We are seeking a temporary Garden Educator to support teaching at up to 2 schools starting as soon as possible (pending district background check).

• 12-20 hours a week (Ideal availability is Monday afternoons (admin & staff meetings), and all day on Wednesday and Thursday (for teaching - might be able to flex these days)

• Minimum 8 weeks but could last through mid June with the option to apply for a permanent position.

• Teaching school-day garden lessons to K-5 students at up to 2 Title 1 schools with classroom teacher support.

• Age specific lessons/curriculum, and all teaching supplies provided.

• Support of Education Director & Site Coordinator staff.

• Personal transportation needed.

• Starting wage $21/hr. (no benefits unless transition to permanent position) $1/hr language differential for bilingual staff.
