Aldon takes off his Red Dragon Helm and sets it on the table and looks
up at you. He contemplates his words for a moment then speaks. "The
Snowgolds, the Talops, the Blacklocks, the Winterwoods. These are
farming families, not warriors. They will be of no aid to us. We
defend them as part of our arrangement. If these Durigar be attacking
the trade routes I will let the Freedom Riders know. That be Morn's
territory. There be some in Kharva's Inn now. We can't send the
entire army after a dozen Durigar for fear of them attacking Anathar's
Dell while we're gone. But we must strike a blow against these
Durigar! We need to move the men into defensive position."
Gideon stands pointing to the map of the mines on the table. "We
should post one squad of men at the lower east mines and one at the
west. One should move further into the tunnels accompanied by the
delvers. Lets also send a squad with the Freedom riders to patrol
the trade routes. We don't want Morn thinking we can't protect our
outlying lands. The rest should stay here and make preparations!"
Aldon clears his throat looking over to the priest, "What say you
about these demons High Priest Balmug?". The High Priest wipes the
sleep from his eyes and looks up. "I know not of these orbs. I have
not heard of them before. There may be one who has though. I believe
you may know him. Or at least his son. Terr Breemin Ragnivald III
was our record keeper and knew much of the planes of hell and their
ancient lore. Though he is sickly and we fear on his death bed, but
he may know more on this subject. I shall speak with him."
"Very well Balmug, please speak with him at once! Gideon, we begin
preparations now! Set the men up to guard the mine entrances.
Delvers, get some shut eye. In the morning meet me back here. You're
leading the push to slaughter some Durigar!"
