Since you guys are going to control the 8 Dwarven Warriors assigned to you, I wanted to give you an option.  Either I can give you a stat block you can use for all 8 Dwarves, or... you can make the stats for as many of the dwarves as you want!  You may create any kind of Dwarven Warrior 1 you want.  Just follow the NPC creation rules.  The choice is yours.  Let me know.

Well, it all depends. If those guys are going to be with us for a bit, I think it would neat if we made them as 1st level characters. Since there are 8 of them, we could split them up between us (2,2,2,1,1) and use them like henchmen (run them on each of our initiatives). But if we don't think that they are going to be with us for more than the next session, then I don't think its worth the trouble.

If we do decide to create them as characters, I will just do one of them myself since I already have my summoned critters. Also they should probably have some sort of teamwork feat in common too.

Remember they aren't first level player characters (barbarian, bard, etc.) they are first level NPCs (warrior, expert) I wouldn't mind having a dungeon expert among them if that is alright. But, Ron is right if we are only going to have them for next session it may not be worth it.

Well how long you have them depends on you. You requested to have
some Dwarves accompany you on your quest to retrieve the Orbs of
Mumm'Narvarog. So it would depend on if you guys want to keep them
throughout the entire quest line, or if you just want them for the
next dungeon. You should probably also decide if you want to game
with 8 henchmen or not. I dont know if you like managing all of them.

I didn't mind it at all. It was easy for me to move them and roll for them. I liked being able to move them and strategize them according to my moves as if we faught like a dwarves clan, when Matt would move them I'd cringe cause I'd be like well that fucks up what I was gonna do next. But as soon as he gave us control I was able to move them accordingly to flank and what not. I assume each one has a healing potion? I liked having 4 melee and 4 ranged that was nice as well. Up to you guys. If they end up in the way we could always send them back to report to the king.

Yeah if you guys don't like them you can always pull a "We work better
as a 5 man unit". But Aldon gave you them as a resource. They will
follow your command and are at your disposal. They are equipped with
Dwarven War Axes, Light Cross Bows, 20 bolts each, and a single cure
light wounds potion. They can go to the Armory and get stocked up on
extra bolts and various standard quality weapons, but the cure light
wounds potions are limited. Those CLW potions cost what these men
make in half a year. So use them sparingly.

I would like to make one of the "ranged" dwarven militia an expert if that is alright I will make all the stats unless someone has a problem (specifically Matt)?
