After setting up his stuff and starting the process brewing and after the first Kobold attempt (the one with the scorpions) Ragnivald says to Eir "Keep an eye on this for a second." He walks down the hallway about 50 feet and takes a leak. "Thank ye," he says to Eir and continues stirring the draught, "Its all about precision with timing and amount," he says to no one in particular. However, you notice that he creates the draught without any measuring tools or timers throwing a bit of something in every so often and stirring occasionally. You notice that he pulled out a pair of eyeglasses and put them on before starting making the velvety dark liquid.
