Russian invasion of Ukraine, overdue ?

This Russian invasion and attack on democracy has been overdue  , mostly for the West's arrogance, hypocrisies and loose/noncommittal attitude and policies for the values of liberal democracy.   Astraying  from the core principle of democracy and human rights has brought this Russian aggression . 

1. Being arrogant made them blind to the sensitivity of Russian security . The west expanded NATO on the doorstep of Russia, even to tiny states like Latvia, Estonia etc. This dilutes NATO meaning and power of the alliance  and makes it unsustainable . 

2. Big differences appeared between  Europe and USA and among Europe with respect to foreign policies and alliances.  They diverged with regards to democracy and human rights in foreign policy and with regards to dealing with China & Russia. 

As a result, the alliance became weaker. 

3. The West condoned and tacitly supported Israel's  illegal occupation, continuous settlements and encroaching of west bank and take over of East Jerusalem, just because Israel could do it by force.  If Israel is allowed to muscle its present and takeover Palestinian lands and homes , why is not allowed to do the same by the Russia .  The establishment of the norm  might-is- right in the international arena comes at the expense of  democracy and international rules. 

4. If US's illegal Iraq invasion can be justified , in the pretext of phantom WMD, why could not Russia's invasion of Ukraine, in the security pretext ? 

5.  The West , India and UN had dislodged democracy in Bangladesh in 2006 when they  accommodated the Mainuddin-Faukruddin criminal coup . Bangladesh still is  paying the price with human rights,  democratic rights , state interests, selling out of Bangladesh's sovereignty , interests and markets and businesses to the master nation like India , China and Russia. , The West did the same in Egypt when they dislodged the Mursi led govt by the Army dictator Sisi.   The were so easily influenced to  throw away their principle with the evocation of  'Muslims terrorists are coming' mantra.  The sight of  Hejab, long beards became threats for national security , justifying extrajudicial killing by drone, war crimes, allocation of nation's trillions of dollar  into the so called 'fight on terror', at the expense of real threat agaisnt demoracies around the world.  

6. I hope this gives the West a wake up call.  Restrengthen the western alliance for democracy and human rights, instead of fighting among themselves. Russia and China should have been held accountable long ago.  If the West does not get more united and work for democracy uncompromisingly, Russia and China will bring more havoc.  Russia will not stop here . It will try Latvia and Estonia next , if Ukraine is devoured into a client state, just like Beloruse .  

7.  The West should free Bangladesh from the current Indian client state into a democracy .
