Assalamu -Alaikum, again, Syed bhai,
This is another agony of replying/countering the replying on the same issue among ourselves.
I do not know how "Islamic" is the issue of insistence on some issues--in how many cases our great prophet (SM) did it!
I do not have time (a poor man in all aspects) to argue on these "unnecessary" issues.
Saddam' case: Looks like, a tiny hypocrite, but much "arrogant," was punished by the Big hypocrites. I had been a critic of Saddam, but when the Bigs did the wrongs of destroying whole nation of not only Iraqis, but also many more Muslim nations (though we should be just one nation), I became vocal against the Frankenstein-actions of the Bigs (Al-Hamdulillah continuing, while I got punished and some well-wishers advice me just saying "stop your mouth").
It is not only me, there are many erudite personalities, who understand the short-comings of our side! When I cannot agree on many issues and do not have time going for researching, just ignore it.
Al-Hamdulillah, many people got the benefit of patience/tolerance in their lives and finally praised me (I do not take it as a pride!), while I have been known as a "loud voice" and "intolerant" of the meanness! May Allah SWT show us the Seratul Mustakim.
Fi-Amanillah!
ZA
