Dear friends

I am also very happy to inform all of you that my wife and I are going for Hajj this year in sha Allah.

It took a lot of painstaking effort ( hours at a time online). Still could not make it in the first phase.Got in on the second phase.

I take this opportunity to sincerely apologize and seek forgiveness from any of you whom I may have hurt, during our long association, with some of you  since the 60s, due of my words and/or actions. Do please pray for our successful pilgrimage. I will do the same in sha Allah for the whole group.

I am happy to tell you that I was successful in buying a Hajj package for this year (5-25 June) via the Saudi Hajj site NUSUK.  Global competition for the limited positions offered for the countries like NZ, Australia, USA, UK, Canada etc. was tough besides the website crashing or malfunctioning repeatedly owing to the huge demand as soon as the sale started.  What a stressful buying experience it has been! 

 

If anyone else from our group is going, let me know please.  It would be so special to meet a friend for Hajj and explore the sites like Badr/Uhud battle fields, Hera Cave, Arafat where the prophet delivered his final speech.  Exciting time ahead!

Congratulations and best wishes, Javed Bhai. May you and Bhabi perform the Hajj rituals in peace and may Allah (SWT) accept your Hajj. 


Allah had given me the opportunity and blessing to do the Hajj four times (plus enter the Holy Kaba three times in the late seventies), I am aware of the rigors involved, particularly for elderly people, if done according to the book. But I am told with the improvement of needed infrastructures and facilities, the performance of Hajj had become much easier these days. Yet, the congrggation of about 3 million people in a limited time and space is not a matter of comfort. Praying that Allah makes it easier for you and all.

May your pilgrimage be accepted by Allah and your sins be forgiven. May this Hajj be a source of blessings and divine guidance in your life. 
Please do dua for me, us,  Bangladesh, the oppressed Muslims of the world, and especially our brethren and children in Palestine.
