Students smile as they are able to wear their free dress clothes!

Our first “Free Dress Fundraiser Day” has been a huge success!  Final count shows that the school earned $552.28 today in donations thanks to students, parents, and anonymous donors. image

A great thank you to everyone who participated! Special thanks to Karla Kay Snow and Trent Schoonmaker, chairs of the school-level fundraising committee for your relentless work in putting this together.

The next Free Dress Fundraiser Day will be January 14th, the second Friday of the month!

Interestingly, the first four classrooms with the largest donations today were:

  1. Snow, Karla Kay (2nd)    $34.00
  2. Taylor, Audrey (1st)    $26.00
  3. Frey, Cheryl (1st)    $24.25
  4. Walters, Alisha (4th)    $24.00

Dear Freedom Academy Supporters,

Update! A classroom was accidentally left out of this announcement on Friday.  That has been fixed, and we have updated the total earned on Friday to the school to $572.28. We are very glad this was such a success, and appreciate our teachers and students and parents for making it such a success.

Please pass this along, or consider sharing this link with other Freedom Families or on Facebook, etc: http://pfa.cc/fundraising/2010/first-free-dress-dollar-day-a-success.htm

Onward!
