Walking Visionaries Awards launched

We are excited to launch the Walking Visionaries Awards !
The awards will highlight new ideas, big and small, fun and serious, for fulfilling the potential of walking for liveable communities.

Individuals, collectives and organisations from across the globe, from different disciplinary backgrounds and cultural contexts alike are invited and encouraged to submit their ideas and projects for the Walking Visionaries Awards.

The winning submissions will receive a free ticket for the Walk21 conference in Vienna, Austria in October 2015 and participate in a range of conference sessions, plenaries and social events.
All accepted submissions will remain published on the awards' website to foster the submitters’ network and allow others to learn from inspiring ideas.

Improving conditions for walking and building liveable communities is an interdisciplinary issue which is represented by a wide array of submission categories for the Walking Visionaries Awards.
  • Advocacy, Campaigning and Social Projects
