Think Jewishly. Vote Locally.

Hi Michael,

For the first time this year, the JUFJ Campaign Fund endorsed candidates for the DC State Board of Education, and it's Ward 4's turn now! We have a Special Election coming up on Tuesday, December 4 to fill a vacant seat on the Board.

We are proud to endorse Dr. Frazier O'Leary for State Board of Education.

Frazier O'Leary has nearly 50 years of experience as a DCPS teacher and coach at Cardozo High School and Garnet-Patterson Junior High. He has spent his career challenging all of his students to reach new heights.

As a member of the State Board of Education, Frazier will be a vocal advocate for improving DC's traditional public schools, moving away from high stakes testing, teaching diverse curricula, and investing in early childhood learning.

The stakes of this election are very high. State Board members for Wards 1, 3, 5, and 8 are already fighting so that every student, no matter the color of their skin or how much money their family has, can get a good education. If Frazier is elected, this progressive bloc will have a majority on the Board.

The special election is coming up VERY SOON on Tuesday, December 4, and voter turnout is crucial. Join the JUFJ Campaign Fund on Sunday, December 2 at 10:30 AM in Petworth to brunch with Frazier and to help get our neighbors and friends out to the polls.

RSVP for brunch and/or the canvass here.
