well, I meant creepy in a good sense.  like Rimbaud's Season in Hell, which was one of Jim's favorites.  has anyone read Season in Hell?  it sheds some light on The Petting Zoo, best as I can remember it.  maybe the tone, the feeling . . . get a good translation.
