Just got a new machine mikro mk 3 and installed all the native access software, but garageband/my Mac doesn't seem to recognize it as midi controller. I use shift + the circle button to put it into midi mode, but neither the midi manager system utility or GarageBand will pick it up.

All DJ TechTools products (such as the Midi Fighters, Chroma Cables, Chroma Caps and other Chroma accesories) have a 1-year full warranty. This warranty does not include protection from damage caused by physical abuse (dropping, beating, slamming, etc) or water damage. Upon notification, receipt and inspection of broken product, DJ TechTools will send out a new product at no additional cost. Any modifications to equipment will void the warranty. If you bought your device from an authorized reseller then please get in touch with them to get it replaced or serviced. Keep in mind that DJTT midi controllers and accessories purchased from non authorized vendors have no warranty associated with them.
All third party products warranty claims are handled directly through the manufacturer. The only exception to this is we will handle third party exchanges within 15 days of receipt of the item. No technical support is given for third party products.

Brand new products are returnable within a 30 day period in most cases. If a product is not defective, the buyer is responsible for original and return shipping costs. For domestic defective orders, DJ TechTools will arrange for a return shipping label.

I wasn't ready for the full Komplete range, but I wanted a bunch of sounds and instruments from Komplete & the Maschine software which would have cost $199...realized that for just another $100 I could get this little beatmaker and all the content; Wow it was a great deal! This little guy punches way above its weight! Hardware is solid, pads buttery, workflow for the MASCHINE DAW is so natural! And best part is you can throw it into your bag and bring it with you wherever you go. So Worth it!
I am a DJ first but wanted to start dabbling in the world of production. The Maschine Mikro has been a blast to use as I've started off creating drum kits and sample loops to insert into my DJ workflow. I've not even scratched the surface of what the software can do, but am extremely satisfied with the portability and responsiveness of the Mikro hardware. Someday I may graduate to the MK2 or the Studio, but couldn't be happier with what the Mikro has to offer at this point in my progression.
The maschine totally transformed my workflow, and really put more of ME into the mix-live and in the studio. The mikro is just about as powerful as the regular maschine, and for people on a budget (like myself) you can't get anything better for the price. Great product great DTJJ service.
