Check-out is at 12 pm. If you require a late check-out, there will be an additional charge of $50 applied for check-out until 3pm (based on availability). Any time after 3pm will require a full day rate.

There is a hold/deposit placed on your credit card at the time of check-in for incidentals. The hold is released by Club Quarters Hotels on your day of departure. Please note that it may take your financial institution 3-7 business days for the funds to release back into your available balance.

Perhaps most unique to this project is the polycarbonate window that allows commuters to see when a locker is in use. When the lockers were originally positioned outside of the building, this allowed security to immediately see what was in the locker, a necessity in a post-9/11 world. Now that the lockers have moved into one of the lower levels of the One World Trade Center, not only do those extra security measures remain, but commuters also have the convenience of seeing clearly when a locker is or is not in use.

CycleSafe helped property management at Durst identify that they needed a long-term bike parking system that could have updates and expansion as the needs of the building and tenants matured. Our modular and easily expanded bike parking systems allowed our sales and engineering team to come up with a four-phase proposal that laid out a roadmap for their program. From the original install in 2015 with 24 parking positions in single sided lockers, their program grew to 48 in 2017 by adding an additional door and center partition to their existing units, and finally is at over 96 spaces today from their 2020 addition of double tier, two door units.

On Feb. 26, 1993, an ugly new phase of terrorism was ushered in when Jordanian Eyad Ismoil drove Kuwaiti Ramzi Yousef and a 1,300-pound nitrate-hydrogen gas enhanced bomb also stuffed with cyanide into the parking garage below the World Trade Center in Manhattan.

When the bomb went off, their goal of bringing down the Twin Towers failed, but the event was the first in a continuing string of indiscriminate attacks on civilians by terrorists designed solely to kill as many as possible.

By 1997, seven men had been convicted for the attack: Yousef, Ismoil, Egyptian Mahmud Abouhalima, Palestinian Mohammad Salameh, Kuwaiti Nidal A. Ayyad, Iraqi Abdul Rahman Yasin and Palestinian Ahmad Ajaj. Only six of them, however, had been caught.

The one thing that bound them all was a radical Egyptian cleric, Omar Abdel Rahman, a blind sheik who had once set up shop in Jersey City, New Jersey. Rahman was ultimately convicted of masterminding several attacks -- some carried out, some not -- on American interests.

Rounding out the circle of plotters is the infamous Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, who is not only Yousef's uncle, but also later claimed to be the mastermind of the 9/11 attacks which ultimately brought the Twin Towers down. Mohammed gave Yousef advice, tips, and cash in the run up to the 1993 bombing.
