Hi,
I was curious to see what other Enlightenment distros are out there and indeed whether there is a SUSE version, as they tend to have a certain ''feel'' about them - solid, polished, professional...
Not that I've tried SUSE lately, but that seems to be the reputation that precedes it. In fact the last time I did was the first time I installed a gnu/linux distro on my computer and that was SuSE 9.3! My how things have come on since then. At the time coming from windows, dependency hell was not much fun and stumbled onto Ubuntu which was emerging at the time and found it easier as dependencies were handled. I hear things have changed in rpm distros too, since.
So, I stumbled on to Petite.
I dl and checked md5sum and using Unetbootin I committed Petite iso and rebooted.
However, during the initial firing up stages it got stuck.
Got to :
Loading Kiwi CD Boot-System
Creating device nodes with udev
Boot logging enabled on /dev/tty3
then:
30 Couldn't find Live image configuration file
30 Reboot exception! error consoles at alt-f3/f4
Beboot exception: reboot in 120 secs.
*****************************************************
Wonder whether this means anything to you.
I have used this usb stick successfully, using Unetbootin to load several different isos, so, doubt the issue is there.
Kind Regards
