Does petite Linux support the i586 archetecture, or is that archetecture one of the past?  I would like to know to get one of my old K6 II computers running again without the dreaded WIndows XP or something too light, like DSL.

Good morning,

I recommend you try a different distro.
Petite linux is unmaintained, and based on a version of opensuse which is also most likely no longer suppored.

Most linux distributions offer both 32bit and 64bit support, and if I'm not mistaken, latest openSUSE comes bundled with latest enlightement, which you can choose during installation.
Alternatively I suggest you check out bodhi linux, which is also enlightenment, but based on latest ubuntu.

I personally no longer use enlightenment, and as such have lost interest in the project.

Thanks for your time, and sorry for letting you down.

cheers

No, it supports j587 architecture, I think. Get DXL and Windows PX and don't look bakk.
