Forgive the off topic my Rotary club is going to Houma tomorrow to cook for workers.

We are bringing supplies.   See attached list.

Can be dropped off at my home at 215 white street Abbeville today or tonite

Or tomorrow morning before 6:30 am at Abbeville Electric _320 S.State Street Abbeville

Look around for old ice chests & tarps & extra hammer you may not use again.

They got nothing so something helps.

BTW we might need a can of gas to get there & back.

Thanks

If  questions call 337 652 5586

Yours sincerely,

Rotarians,

Please see attached list of items needed for the devastated areas from Hurricane Ida

Mr Gerald says we can use American Legion as a drop off location. If you need to drop items off and it’s closed call Gerald or I to open the hall

We are in the process of sending the shower trailer to Houma. Governor Mark Lee said there was a definite need there

See you at today’s meeting

 Dear Annette,

The damage and destruction caused by Hurricane Ida are catastrophic – very similar to what we experienced in the Lake Charles area from Hurricane Laura.

I know a number of Clubs are wondering how they can help their fellow Rotarians.  I have attached information as to how monetary contributions can be handled and a list of items needed now to help those living in the communities affected by Hurricane Ida start the recovery process.

We are still working on drop-off sites in Houma and Golden Meadow and should have that information by the end of the day today or tomorrow.

We will attempt to keep you regularly updated on what is happening and how you and your club members can help.
