Claudia proposed that we start at 8:00 am instead of 7:00. Please give your choice. I don't care either way. Let the group decide.

Pro: sleep a little later
Con: a few degrees hotter & the rain chances increase as the morning goes on. This could derail our plans for a longer ride.

Not that I’ve been a regular attendee but 8 is easier

Sleep is over rated!  I am for 7am and more miles.

I propose that those who want to ride long, meet at Home Depot in Broussard at 7:00, ride to meet the group in St Martinville at 8:00. We'll do a 50 mi ride from St. Martinville. That will give the long group 75 mi. This is the route I propose from St Martinville.

i can do either. earlier is better b/c of the heat and rain but coming in from south lafayette for 7am is tough.

I'm aiming to make it out. Haven't done any group road rides yet so it's probably best for me to join the later group and learn the ropes on the 50m route with a B group. As long as there's still going to be people meeting in St Martinville.

Barrett,

The people leaving early will be meeting the 8:00 people in St Martinville so the will certainly be a group at that time. However, I cannot guarantee the will be a slower B group. Lately, we've been merging into one group and averaging about 20 mph. I wish I could be more helpful
