Honey mustard sauce means a lot of different things to me, but mostly what it means is that when I make it, I am going to get to eat something that will be dipped in sauce. And in my life, there are few things better than a meal dipped in sauce.
So great. I try to sneak veg options into our weekly meals. Made this to go with a tomato salad, fries and some incogmeato chiX nuggets. It was intended as a dipping sauce for the nuggets, but the fam put it on EVERYTHING!!.
YASSSS thank you Lindsey for this recipe! Basically when I go to fast food restaurants I always order chicken nuggets just because HONEY MUSTARD. I will definitely be trying this much more natural version at home! Thank you! ?
Is it wrong that I sort of want to just make a HUGE vat of this sauce and then swim in it for awhile, before slurping my way out of it?
Yeah, that sounded weird.
Whatever. I lovety love LOVE honey mustard, so this is my jam! Pinned!
I was just looking for a honey mustard salad dressing recipe and saw your instagram post! It was fate I guess. ? This looks like pretty much the best dipping sauce ever to grace the interwebs. Have you tried this as a salad dressing yet?
I am not typically a big mustard fan but had to try this recipe, as the photo is mouthwatering and I am SO happy I did! The marinade is delicious and perfect for a summer meal. It has a good flavor without being overpowering! I baked mine and the chicken turned out super moist.
Another excellent recipe Monique! Thank you! I would recommend after making the marinade, to set aside a few tbsp so you can drizzle it on top. Husband and I LOVED this recipe, it is SO easy with ingredients I always have on hand. Enjoy!
I made this for my husband and 3 kids. My 8 year old who DISLIKES chicken more than anyone I know, was nose up not wanting to have anything to do with what I put on her plate, until we some how convinced her to try it. She gobbled her entire piece of chicken up. It was a MIRACLE, I will definitely be making this again.
I made baked chicken wings with this recipe and it was fantastic! I marinated for about 4 hrs then baked at 425F for 50 minutes and they had the most perfect, crispy skin. The honey mustard flavor was not strong, but definitely there! Will set aside some of the marinade to maybe brush on after baking next time to get even more of that mustard flavor.
Another amazing simple, delicious and easy recipe! I have used chicken breast and chicken thigh with this marinade and it never fails! I have also tried it both on the grill and in the oven, I prefer the grilled version! Love this recipe and highly recommend it!
Made this yesterday after receiving the recipe in the email newsletter. easy and a big hit! In addition to chicken I also had some thinly sliced pork chops. so marinated those as well and grilled, two thumbs up!
I marinated the chicken for three hours in the refrigerator and a Ziploc bag. I then grilled the breast on the barbecue and they came out juicy flavorful and delicious. Highly recommend this recipe.
Healthy Honey Mustard Dressing. You have to try it! My kids will eat almost any veggie in honey mustard dressing. Can you relate? Same goes for ranch dressing. I like to make my own with real ingredients so I know exactly what is going into their mouths.
I realized though that I have only one salad recipe that has chicken in it on the blog so far. How can that even be? I know you guys love salads and chicken. How did I not create like a million recipes like this already before? Anyway, here I come with a new favorite for you: Honey Mustard Chicken Salad. (Recipe adapted from Cafe Delites)
Now, you obviously only need this if you have half an avocado left. I recommend to always use the whole avocado right away and to cut into your salad max 30 minutes before eating. If you plan on making this honey mustard chicken salad with avocado as meal prep to take to work I recommend to take the ingredients with you separated. Lettuce, tomato and onion washed and sliced in one big container. Chicken in a separate small container. Dressing in a separate container. And avocado as a whole, unpeeled, unpitted and without having cut into it. Add the avocado and dressing at the very end, just before eating.

The dressing is super super easy. Only 4 ingredients: honey, mustard, balsamic vinegar, avocado oil. I like to prepare the thicker marinade version first, add half of it to the chicken, then add more oil to the remaining dressing later to liquify and drizzle over the finished salad.

This Honey Mustard Turkey Avocado Sandwich recipe is the BEST summer lunch, with crunchy potato chips, fresh heirloom tomatoes, real honey, dijon and thinly shaved deli turkey. All loaded up on some good sourdough bread... so good!
This sandwich tastes best with squishy, fresh bread. If my bread is even a little stale, I like to wrap the slices in a damp paper towel and zap them in the microwave for 10-15 seconds or until they soften.

Exactly the taste I was looking to achieve! I did use mayo in place of yogurt, used about 5 tbs honey, 2 1/2 tbs lemon and only 1 tablespoon apple cider. Oh and I used stone ground mustard because I like how it looks. It is delightful! It is very light bright but creamy at the same time. I like how it is creamy without being heavy. This will be my go to honey mustard!!
This salad dressing is absolutely delicious. We made a small substitution and replaced the olive oil with sesame oil. It takes it to a whole other level! Thank you for the recipe, we enjoy it almost every day!
Think crispy chicken tenders and the iconic honey mustard dip from McDonalds. This honey mustard chicken wrap checks all the boxes, and more! If you liked my honey mustard sheet pan meal, this one's for you.
Wraps are the easiest go-to lunch and they are seriously so good. I love them because they keep well and can be meal prepped, making them a good work lunch like I described here. This honey mustard wrap is a delicious balanced option, with tons of protein, fibre and fresh veggies. The honey mustard sauce is so simple, you'll want to drizzle it on everything!
These honey mustard chicken wraps are best eaten right after making them, or within a few hours if you want to bring them for lunch. Otherwise, the tortilla will start to get soggy if left for too long. If you are looking for a way to make them ahead of time, I recommend making the filling ahead of time (can keep in the fridge for up to 4 days) and then adding it to a tortilla with any other add-ins.

I am a senior in high school and I cook for my parents and I for dinner most nights of the week, and I made this recipe and everyone liked it!! I loved how simple it was without sacrificing flavor. I will definitely make this again!
Provolone cheese: you can use any mild cheese- swiss cheese, cheddar cheese, mozzarella or even cream cheese would work. I like to get freshly sliced provolone from the deli at my local grocery store.
Whisk up the dressing. Combine mayonnaise, Greek yogurt, ACV, honey, salt, pepper, mustard and sriracha in a small bowl and whisk until smooth. Taste and season with another pinch of salt and black pepper, per your taste. You can also add more sriracha if you like it spicy!
Lay a tortilla on a flat surface. Spread a big dollop of creamy honey mustard sauce on the tortilla. Add two slices of provolone cheese and 1 slice chopped crispy bacon. Next add a pile of the dressed salad, 2-3 chicken strips, 3-4 pickles and a sprinkle of green onions. The amount of chicken you use is up to you/ how much will fit.

The delicious savory, sweet chicken in sticky honey mustard sauce served alongside the potatoes and broccoli was a welcome meal in the bellies of all of my visiting family after a long day snowmobiling out in the cold.
Yes, You can use Thyme as a substitute for the rosemary in this Easy Honey Mustard Baked Chicken Recipe. The flavor will be slightly different but still complimentary. Or you can try thyme and rosemary together!
For dark meat, I prefer boneless skinless chicken thighs. Follow the recipe as written with this substitution. If you like bone in, skin on thighs, then I recommend giving the skin side of the chicken a nice sear first so the skin is nicely browned.
