So amid your strange feeling of Deja Vu, we've got several great jazz events in store this month:
Tomorrow night: Friday, February 3rd -- 8:00PM the Septet will be at Vie de Boheme Wine Bar, 1530 SE 7th (between Hawthorne and Clay on SE 7th) featuring Gaea Schell, Greg Garrett, Bryan Dickerson, Stan Bock, Ed Pierce, and Jon Shaw. Please come on out and enjoy this powerhouse band with a nice glass of wine. Who knows, some special guests might even show up! ;)
Friday, February 10 -- I'll be back at Vie de Boheme, this time with vocalist Carri Bella for her CD Release Party! Carri's CD has been years in the making and is well worth the wait. Joining Carri, in addition to yours truly, will be Derek Sims, Scott Steed, Todd Strait, and Mike Horsfall.
Saturday, February 11 -- Ashland, OR (private event)
Thursday, February 16th -- at Ivories Jazz Lounge, NW 14th & Flanders in the Pearl District, with Jim Templeton.
Thursday, February 23rd -- I'll again be at Ivories, this time joined by Paul Mazzio, Mike Snyder, Jim Templeton and Kevin Deitz.
Saturday, February 25th -- Bend, OR (private event)
