Portland Jazz Orchestra tonight!

I'll be playing with the Portland Jazz Orchestra tonight at 7:30pm at
the First United Methodist Church in Portland. The first half of the
concert will feature music from Miles Davis' seminal Birth of the Cool
recording, featuring Paul Mazzio on trumpet, and the second half will
feature some favorites from the Duke Ellington library. And by
favorites we mean lots of really hip old-school early Duke, including
"Hot and Bothered", "Main Stem", "Jubilee Stomp", "Braggin' in Brass",
and much more! Plus I get to play some screamin' clarinet solos so you
know I'm looking forward to that!!!
Tickets are $22 or $15 for students in advance through TicketsOregon (www.ticketsoregon.com
) or $26/$19 at the door.
