Happy Mardi Gras everybody!!
I hope you're all enjoying the festivities of the Portland Jazz Festival. We've got a quintet date this Thursday at Ivories Jazz Lounge, NW 14th & Flanders in the Pearl -- This will be a slammin' quintet featuring Paul Mazzio and myself on horns, Kevin Deitz on bass, Mike Snyder on drums, and Jim Templeton on piano. We'll be doing a tasty blend of standards, some original compositions by Jim and a few by yours truly, and some absolutely gorgeous tunes penned by a few of Jim's Scandinavian friends. This is one not to be missed!
