PEtab with model formats other than SBML - Request for Comments

Dear list,

We are happy to announce the start of the Request For Comments (RFC)
period for a proposal to change the PEtab format to allow specifying
models in any language, not only SBML. Please find a detailed
description of the proposed changes here:
https://github.com/PEtab-dev/PEtab/pull/538

The RFC period will last for two weeks (until April 1), during which
everyone is invited to comment on the proposed changes (in the linked
pull request). After the RFC period is over and as soon as feedback has
been incorporated, a voting period (two weeks) to approve or reject the
amended changes will be announced on this mailing list.
