Troy had a family.

When he was found as a stray, he even had a microchip. Someone knew who he was. Someone knew he was missing.

But no one came for him. Day after day, Troy waited. And after all that waiting, he was left behind.

Now this sweet boy has spent over 3 months in the shelter, wondering why nobody has come back. And honestly, we're wondering why nobody has chosen him either.

Troy is everything people say they want in a dog.

✅ Around 1 year old, Neutered, Up to date on vaccines, Heartworm negative, Dog friendly, and 56 lbs of pure love

When Troy first arrived, he was shy and confused. Shelter life was a huge change for a dog who was used to having people. But little by little, he's started to trust again and show us the sweet, goofy, loving boy hiding underneath.

His favorite things?

🥜 Peanut butter

🥏 Frisbees

👣 Following his humans everywhere

🛋️ Soft blankets and cozy naps

More than anything, Troy just wants someone to love.

He's the kind of dog who becomes your shadow. The kind who looks at you like you're his whole world. The kind who doesn't ask for much just a safe place, a family, and a promise that this time he won't be left behind.

Every day Troy spends in the shelter is another day this wonderful dog misses out on the life he deserves.

Please don't let him become just another overlooked shelter dog.
