Subject: Gentle Coconut Awaits You!!! - Baltimore, MD
- Rescue Needed -
Coconut - altered male, 15y4m, 18.2lbs
Picked up as a stray on 3/17, Coconut is a friendly and gentle boy who has been very cooperative with everyone he meets.
Our medical team noted decreased range of motion in both hips, stifles, and knees, along with a kyphotic stance through his spine, suggesting advanced degenerative joint disease and possible spondylosis deformans. Radiographs are needed to confirm the full extent.
Coconut also has grade 2/4 periodontal disease, with tartar buildup and some gum recession. A full medical summary can be provided upon request.
Despite these health concerns, he is calm and easygoing. Coconut would benefit from a rescue placement where he can get the medical support he needs.
Please let us know if your organization can help!
Thank you,
The BARCS Rescue Team
