Vesper - altered female, 2y1m, 60.1lbs
🚨Placement needed by 3/20 at 6pm🚨
Vesper came in as a stray on 2/2 and was in a foster home, where she showed herself to be incredibly people-loving. She adores everyone she meets, including children, and is a true cuddle bug who just wants to be close to her people. She happily leans in for affection and thrives on human connection.
She has a medium energy level, enjoying playtime, enrichment, and zoomies, then settling in for naps and cuddle time. She is doing well with crate use and continues to work on routine and structure in the home.
However, Vesper is not doing well with other dogs and failed her most recent dog assessment. She has shown escalating reactivity, including tension at greetings, pinning, and attempts to bite, and will need placement as the only animal with a rescue experienced in managing these behaviors.
She is overweight but otherwise healthy. Full medical and behavioral notes are available upon request.
Vesper is a truly wonderful dog with people, affectionate, social, and deeply connected, but she urgently needs placement with a rescue that can provide structure, management, and the right environment for her to succeed.
Vesper’s deadline is 3/20 at 6PM. She needs placement immediately.
