All 4 found on Lantern Hill Circle and brought to the shelter May 13
Lisa Frank doesn't look like a redbone coonhound at all.
Pretend Dr. Bob is solid and he looks Lab too.  Labby paws and build.
May be the dad and not a sib.

I left their terrible pics here for you to see.
I spent an hour researching these dogs on their database, cropping their crappy photos and putting a post together.
I do this for the dogs and the rescue partners period.
Totally fine (not) but these dogs requested a post together...they pointed out to me Tales of Wells Fargo isn't on GRIT Friday nights.

LISA FRANK (A055792) **TIME IS UP on 5/20** NEEDS RESCUE COMMITMENT ASAP to avoid E-list NEXT WEEK

Breed/Type: Redbone Hound/Mix, Brown and White

Age: ~1.5 years

Sex: Female, Unspayed

Weight: ~40 lbs.

Heartworm Status: Negative

Dog-friendly? Yes

Notes/What We Know: Lisa Frank came in as a stray. She is nervous but we have confidence that once she’s out of the shelter, like most dogs, she’ll open up hugely. She’s a precious girl who wants to socialize but isn’t sure how yet!

Polly Pocket (A055793) **TIME IS UP on 5/20** NEEDS RESCUE COMMITMENT ASAP to avoid E-list NEXT WEEK

Breed/Type: Lab Mix, Black & White

Age: ~1 year

Sex: Female, Unspayed

Weight: ~40 lbs.

Heartworm Status: Negative

Dog-friendly? Yes

Notes/What We Know: Polly Pocket, like Lisa Frank, was found as a stray. She is nervous but we have confidence that once she’s out of the shelter, like most dogs, she’ll open up hugely. She’s a precious girl who wants to socialize but isn’t sure how yet!

Bill Wilson (A055794) **TIME IS UP on 5/20** NEEDS RESCUE COMMITMENT ASAP to avoid E-list NEXT WEEK

BILL WILSON.jpg

Breed/Type: Lab/Mix, black with white

Age: ~1.5 years

Sex: Male, Unneutered

Weight: ~49 lbs.

Heartworm Status: Negative

Dog-friendly? Yes, thrives with confident ones

Notes/What We Know: Came in as a stray with Dr. Bob, below, however they are not a truly bonded pair. Bill Wilson’s very, very scared. Tail tucked almost always, invariably. He needs to decompress and know a new peace ASAP. You can tell he’s struggled in the past and needs a confident person and hopefully another dog in the home to show him the ropes and that he’s safe.

DR BOB.jpg

Dr. Bob (A055795) **TIME IS UP on 5/20** NEEDS RESCUE COMMITMENT ASAP to avoid E-list NEXT WEEK

Breed/Type: Pointer/Mix, Black and white

Age: ~2 years old

Sex: Male, Unneutered

Weight: ~60 lbs.

Heartworm Status: Negative

Dog-friendly? Yes, came in with another and very curious about other dogs

Notes/What We Know: This fellow MELTS into your body when he snuggles with you. He is DESPERATE for respite and comfort. He’s not known it, hardly ever most likely. Tail tucked often, and doesn’t walk on the leash at all. In fact, he almost stiffens up entirely when he’s on one. He and I spent about 30 minutes together in the photo room and the way his body relaxed after being so tense was amazing to watch. Loves giving kisses. Very soulful eyes. TRUE LOVE. Came in with Bill Wilson (above).

URGENT: We are currently over capacity, and  we are losing 18 kennels due to renovations. As an open-admission shelter, we cannot stop the intake of stray animals. All animals who have passed their hold times are at immediate risk once their hold time is up. Firm commitments with pickup dates are urgently needed to prevent euthanasia

Lexington County Services in Lexington, South Carolina is in need of assistance placing these dogs with a rescue! These are available to a 501c3 rescue only.  We do exhaust every resource possible but unfortunately due to overcrowding dogs do become at risk of being euthanized. We can provide additional photos, video, vaccines, heartworm tests, health certificates, RABIES VACCINES or any behavioral assessments that may be needed
