Subject: SOS!! Cruelty Case! Dogs to be Euthanized!! No Kennels Left! - Lexington NC

 

Our shelter received a hoarding/neglect case and we are out of space. Without rescue help, most of these animals will be euthanized this weekend.

 

 

#1 - Neutered Male, 8 years old, 64 pounds, heartworm negative, did well during dog test. - URGENT

#2 - Female, 7 years old, 41 pounds, heartworm negative, did well on dog test, very timid but friendly - URGENT

#3 - Female, 9 years old, 44 pounds, heartworm positive, did well on dog test, timid but friendly - URGENT

#4 - Female, 5 years old, 44 pounds, heartworm negative, did ok on dog test (might be dominant), very friendly - URGENT

#5 - Neutered Male, 12 years old, 40 pounds, heartworm negative, cataracts, did well on dog test, very sweet - URGENT

#6 - Female, 9 years old, 32 pounds, heartworm positive, did well on dog test, very sweet - URGENT

#7 - Male, 11 years old, 14 pounds, heartworm positive, did well on dog test, very sweet - URGENT

In addition to these dogs, we also have many other dogs in need.

 

 

Lola - Female, 1 year old, 50 pounds, heartworm negative, did great on dog test, very friendly, surrendered because she was kept on tie-out cable and was digging in the yard.

Litter of 3 - Two males and one female, 7 weeks old, 8-10 pounds, strays

Black Knight - Male, 6 months old, 11 pounds, matted and overgrown fur, needs to be groomed scared, takes time. - URGENT

Bailey - Male, 6 years old, 14 pounds, heartworm negative, timid but friendly, takes time to warm up, shy with dogs but did ok. 

JoJo - Male, 9 years old, 15 pounds, heartworm negative, surrendered because owner had too many animals and could not properly care for him. Jojo was infested with fleas which cause flea allergy dermatitis and has a growth on his back that needs to be checked out. - URGENT

Erin - Female, 8 years old, 25 pounds, stray. - URGENT

Puppy - Female, 8 weeks old, 5.3 pounds

Xena - Female, 1 year old, 33 pounds, heartworm negative, timid but friendly, surrendered because owner was not feeding them - URGENT

Zeppelin - Male, 1 year old, 36 pounds, heartworm negative, very sweet, surrendered because owner was not feeding them - URGENT

Hank - Male, 1 year old 27 pounds, heartworm negative, very friendly, surrendered because owner was not feeding them - URGENT

Linus - Male, 4 months old, 22 pounds, stray.
