We have an adorable senior who needs a quiet space to recover from a significant orthopedic injury. A busy open admission shelter environment makes proper healing difficult — your rescue could be the difference between prolonged suffering and a full recovery.

Cordova (A538037) is a 7-year-old pibble mix surrendered due to landlord issues — not behavior. She recently had TPLO surgery (2/16) and urgently needs a quieter place to recover properly.

This sweet, gentle girl is all heart. She adores belly rubs, enjoys peaceful outdoor time, and has participated in playgroups with other dogs. Cordova isn’t looking for something temporary — she’s ready for stability, comfort, and love while she heals.

Recovery needs:

• Strict indoor confinement initially
• Harness walks only for bathroom breaks
• Gradual, vet-directed increase in activity over 14 weeks

At her core, Cordova is calm, affectionate, and deeply devoted — the kind of dog who makes a house feel like home. She just needs a safe place to rest and a kind human by her side.

Rescuing Cordova means giving a loving senior the chance to heal with dignity and comfort.
