Subject: 2 Senior Jack Russel Mixes- Seeking Urgent Rescue! (Baldwin, MD)
Meet Kellen and Eddie! These two pups came to Baltimore County Animal Services after their beloved owner passed away. They were noted to be good with kids in the home but unfortunately here at the shelter are struggling to adjust and trust those who interact with them. We are sure this is just due to the stress here at the shelter. Kellen (brown/white) is about 10 years old and will growl when any attempt at touching him has been made. We were able to do a full medical exam though, he has mild dental tartar but a more thorough exam of his mouth may need to be done under sedation, he also has lenticular sclerosis and fleas, which were treated. Eddie (tri-color) has sever dental disease with missing lower incisors, overgrown nails, fleas w/ alopecia and lenticular sclerosis. He tolerated his medical exam but was more frozen in fear, he even let us trim his nails. Eddie is about 12 years old. Full medical summaries can be provided upon request. They are not available for adoption or foster through BCAS and must be pulled by a 501c3 organization due to their medical and behavioral concerns.
We are seeking urgent rescue placement for this senior duo.
