Handsome doesn’t even begin to cover it. Kimber is a striking German Shepherd mix with soulful eyes, soft fur, and a heart that keeps fighting no matter what life has thrown his way.
At just 2 years old and 83 pounds, Kimber arrived as a stray with a severely injured back leg. X-rays revealed a break that leaves it mostly dangling and unable to bear weight. Yet despite his pain, he refuses to give up. He still wags, still hopes, and he still believes.
Kimber explores the outdoors with determination, happily following his nose on short walks, though he still needs some work on leash manners to help minimize pulling. He is also highly treat motivated, which makes him eager to learn and connect.
Kimber deserves so much more than pain. He deserves comfort, healing, and the chance to run freely again.
With the holiday season upon us, we are hoping, truly hoping, that a rescue partner can step forward to give him the surgical repair and recovery he urgently needs.
This stunning and courageous boy is waiting for his miracle.
If you can help make that happen, Kimber is ready to give you his whole heart.
