Meet Oakley! This sweet boy came into the Shelter on 6/8 due to the owners health. We had Oakley here for a little while and he started to go downhill and his behavior became concerning when new people or volunteers would walk back. He became very fearful and would bark and growl. We introduced him to Crystal, one of our volunteers, and he opened up quick with her outside and she decided to foster him for a bit. He is currently still in foster and we are hoping to find Oakley a great home! Oakley is already neutered and up to date on vaccines. He is potty trained and is great with dogs and cats and has been fine with all people since being in a home environment and not in the Shelter. He is currently living with another large dog and multiple cats in his foster home! Crystal said she isn't adopting but that Oakley is fine with her for now and she is even willing to foster for a rescue if there is one interested in pulling him and helping find him an adopter!
